Robin FAQ

This section answers some of the questions builders have when constructing the Robin. We will also list some points of aid to help those with specific options in mind. If you would like to submit a comment based on your experience when building the Robin, please drop us an email.

Flaps	The Flaps are NOT laterally symetrical. There is a slight difference in where the flap horn connects - slightly off centre. Be sure not to make 2 left flaps.
Electric Conversion	At this time there is no information on converting the Robin to electric. We can say that there is a lot of room for all the necessary equipment.
Can I use another glow engine other then the OS.46AX that is recommended?	The OS.46AX engine gives the Robin an almost 1:1 thrust to weight ratio. Any more would make it challenging to slow down for a STOL landing. Yes, it’s a very tight fit. All the parts are “sculpted” to fit the engine and muffler specified.
